Julie & Steve’s Malaga Cove Wedding
This couple were two of the most relaxed people I’d ever met! Their wedding was held at the Malaga Cove Library in Palos Verdes, in front of the beautiful fountain (and, of course, the peacocks!) with just their family and closest friends in attendance. I told you there were peacocks! Followed this guy around for about 10 minutes until I could get close enough for a good shot. After the brief ceremony, it was time for the “formal” portraits.
Just loved the arched portico in Malaga Cove Plaza, especially with the beautiful evening light shining through. Such a precious shot – the flower girl loves her new Auntie and she just wanted to show her how much! The Malaga Cove Plaza is such a wonderful location for photos! Thankfully, the bride & groom were happy to indulge me as I kept saying, “oh, one more over here!” How fun are these two? It was great seeing the groom scale the brick wall in his tux to get up to that fire escape! Their expressions are terrific! After shooting at Malaga Cove Plaza, we still had some time before the reception, so we headed to the Palos Verdes cliffs for some shots with an ocean view. Our last shot as the sun was setting behind the clouds. The light was just beautiful that night!
