There are so many wonderful spots to take family portraits in Redondo Beach that I encourage families to use multiple locations during our session.
In South Redondo we have the Redondo Beach Pier and marina/harbor complex as well as a mile and a half of beach. We can take family portraits in Redondo Beach’s Riviera Village, on the strand, or on the strand. If you’re a beach enthusiast it’s fun to include props like surfboards, skateboards, sand toys in photos. And lifeguard towers make for neat shots as well.
I like using South Redondo’s wide streets as a backdrop. Their laid-back feel make it them a prime destination for a photo op. I’ve also taken family portraits Redondo Beach’s Veterans Park and at the historic Redondo Beach Library located there.
Away from the shore Redondo’s Wilderness Park makes is fabulous kid-friendly location. With walking paths, a duck pond, tall grass and rolling hills, your portrait session is more like a fun outing!
